5 Countries in a one week span but it was all worth it for the Johnson Family Reunion! Unfortunately, work got in the way of our plans so Sandra had to travel to Germay, Italy, and France before meeting the family in Nova Scotia. But Shaun was the lucky one and got to tour through Canada with his parents.

13 Years in the Making
It all started at Senior Prom and now it's official, congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Cecil! We headed to Ohio to join the wedding celebration and it was such a memorable weekend, we even went Jeepin at Jimmy's. Rob and Mandy had recently bought a fixer upper which they had done wonders on to host the most beautiful backyard wedding I've ever seen. It was the perfect setting to celebrate such a perfect couple!

Margarita's in Mexico
This has to have been one of my most adventurous vacations I have ever been on!!! And can you believe it was a girls weekend at that, who says boys are more daring. We risked life and limb on this trip but loved every second of it.
But that is were the relaxing vacation ends. We finished off our vacation with an ATV trip that included zip-lining and cliff jumping. I though my fear of heights was going to be the scariest part zip-lining but boy was I wrong. I have never been so fearful in my life, I really had near death experiences on the ATV ride that by the time we got to the zip line I was willing to do almost anything! Needless to say it's an adventure that I'll never forget or stop laughing about.

Our resort in Puerto Vallarta was everything we needed and more. Amazing views, a two bedroom suite, all inclusive, swim-up bar, need I say more. So the first two days we just soaked up some sun and fun before we kicked it into high-gear.
We even spent a night in downtown Puerto Vallarta to celebrate Muge's birthday.

Bonnie's Bridal Bliss
It was the weekend of Bonnie and boy did we do it up right! Shaun headed off to Dewey for a boy's weekend, where no pictures returned so I guess what happens in Dewey stays in Dewey, while our house was turned into Bonnie's Bridal Bed & Breakfast.

Sara and Alli flew in from Utah and then Amanda, Pam, and Abbie drove up from NC so for the first time ever all guests rooms were fully occupied. But the guests didn't stop there, we had almost 20 girls spend the night for the bachelorette festivities the next night.
The weekend started with a bridal shower upstairs but little did Bonnie know what she'd be getting into once we moved downstairs for the bachelorette party?!?! I can't give away too many details but from the pictures you can see fun was had by all. It truly was a Top Night!

Talk Derby To Me
We got spoiled this year with grandstand seats and a week long visit to Louisville! Down side, we almost missed out on Derby due to thunderstorms and a tornado warning. But look who you're talking about here, we weren't about to let Mother Nature rain on our parade =)

And then we had to make a shopping trip before heading back for the Derby, what's a horse race without rain boots ;) And apparently that was the fashionable accessory as it enabled us to walk the red carpet entrance along with The Jacksons, Mario Lopez, Bob Costas, TO, just to name a few.

We spent the first part of the week spending some QT with Shaun's parents and then the troops arrived to join all the festivities. We convinced Meredith to come along again for her second year, hopefully that's a tradition we can keep, and added Muge and Sue to the party. This was one of the best Derby's yet. We love sharing the experience with our friends and family!!! Hint, hint, any takers for next year?!?!
The Chow Wagon is one of our favorite spots, we hit it up several times throughout the week. They have more food than you can even imagine and have concerts on the waterfront every night. You can obviously see why Shaun loved it so much...
We had a gorgeous sunny day for the Oaks, and especially enjoyed the Lily's!

Oscar Party
We transformed our house into the Kodak theater and paparazzi were swarming the joint as the hottest actors and actresses arrived to walk the Red Carpet. We even channeled Wolfgang Puck making sliders and other tasty treats. This was definitely the hottest ticket in town!!! We had it all fake tattoos, t-shirt tuxedos, trendsters, ball gowns, I mean what Oscar Party is complete without a Best and Worst Dressed List?!?! And the Winner Goes to....
Best Dressed - Bonnie aka Angelina Jolie
Worst Dressed - Bursch aka Don Johnson
