I miss my partner in crime! Sara came to visit this weekend and not only did we have such a great time hanging out but she also inspired the nursery decor!
We spent Saturday on the shopping circuit, hitting every store around town from baby boutiques to consignment stores and really lucked out with some fabulous finds. Thanks to the vision of Sara, it all started with a wooden wheelbarrell, we are turning the nursery into a vintage Peter the Rabbit type theme and I'm just so excited to get the remaining accent pieces to pull it all together! Here is a sneak peek at what's to come:
After such a successful day (I stayed under budget) Shaun rewarded us with a fabulous dinner at Trulucks and night out on the town! We had recently discovered this super secret bar downtown that has no signage or advertising that we've been anxious to check out. You actually have to make reservations to get in and get a password to use at the door. The entire concept is really neat as its styled from the prohibition era and once you get in they wheel up a bar to your table and make customized cocktails that are to die for. I loved the "Mocktail" concoctions they created for me as well.
Needless to say the weekend went too fast but I can't thank Sara enough for such a fun & productive weekend. I'm so excited to continue the nursery decorating process and wouldn't have been able to get this far without her!
